Sushi Date + Outfit of the Day

I really wanted to hang out with my two lovely girls. They are already starting school and I am almost heading off for college soon. Getting together was pretty much a given. The thing is we are super poor, none of us work, and we're getting bombarded with tuition and yadddaa yadda. Long story short "Happy Hour" is the best thing a college student or any type of student can hear. Seriously this is probably the most student visited sushi restaurant, Kabuki.
Kabuki Restaurant
(Left to Right) Spicy Tuna Roll, Gold Rush Roll, and Alaskan Roll
YUMMM. They always give us free edamame and it makes my mouth water it's so addicting! I don't know why maybe it's cleansing my palette so it feels refreshing. Okay my favorite happy hour item has got to be that Alaskan Roll it's pretty much an average California roll with all the fix-ins but it's topped with this warm cooked piece of salmon and served with eel sauce. Really eel sauce will never steer you wrong.

I didn't just want to leave this day with just pictures of food and leave you guys starving for more. So we had to just look as delectable as the food right! Well it was a typical girl's night out just for a casual dine in.

California has been really hot lately because of the numerous earthquakes or whatever but today had a bit of a breeze. I played it down with a white simple dress covered by my blue denim jacket. I really like brown and denim so I had to pair my outfit with a brown over the shoulder bag and my go to oxfords. Since the blue and white were more of neutrals I thought I'd throw in a pop of color with a red bow giving me a pretty ridiculous back.

I don't think I have ever been to an outside mall/theater/hang out place that puts up a code of conduct. The rules were all common sense but the one that was so ridiculous was that you couldn't take pictures in front of this fountain. Okay, this fountain is not those amazing ones where you can walk in and swim. This is a fountain that is half assed it sits on this wall and spits out water, literally. Well this rule was not followed by these rebels! Yeaahhhh rebellion.

Okay, I am not going to lie today was a PRETTY FUCKING scary day. Vivian has never really driven me and Jennifer around so this was her like first time. Sigh we kind of died about 5 times. I am not saying she is a bad driver it's just that death was reallyyyyy ready for the kill.

But that's what makes memories memorable almost getting caught or riding around death. I can't say that I regret ever meeting these two because they really mean a lot to me. & I know we will keep in touch even when I leave to Riverside!

Enough of this mushy stuff. I just wanted leave everyone with what I did today. I hope it was not too boring or bland and leave me any suggestions of what I should and should not do!

With Love,
Laura Nguyen
