Day 4 | Irvine Mini shoot + Dinner

Can I just tell you days really do not go as planned? Plans are the hardest things to keep I guess. But I am so happy that Andy & Tina saved my day! We kind of revisited our High School which was really hard because we felt so old to be there. It was embarrassing and got called out by the kids that we need lives. Oh Gosh!

We headed off to Class 302 for some Taiwanese food and boba! I am telling you family style is the best! We couldn't even finish two dishes. I felt like such a school girl in those tiny little desks and the train set hovering over our heads. It was a funny atmosphere because our waiter was a bit of an unemotional guy.
Beef Bowl of Rice + An Assortment of Vegetables
Crispy Fried Pork

Taiwanese Stir fry
Oh we also do not recommend getting the Taiwanese Stir fry it really did not have any flavor!! Just a reminder!

We pondered on getting shaved snow but the idea was not going to get through. We were just too full and that thing is ginormous. I don't even know how four people can finish it! Adventuring on we went to a local park near by to take some pictures. A minishoot!

Overall I really had fun with these two! Gallivanting around Irvine and the University and my feet are still sore. Ahh I think this was a great way to end the rest of my summer fun here in Orange County. Love you guys.

Oh yeah sorry about the spacing it's so annoying!!

Day 4 Irvine | Outfits of the Day

Alrighty O's! Today we adventured around the massive Irvine area and lucky enough there was a park near by! It was so pretty and so clean. Nothing like our run down park in Little Saigon. I am going to start off to say that I usually don't have pretty dressing friends but I make them pretty for the sake of the blog hehe. Just kidding my lovelies are beautiful! Today was so hot  if you stepped outside it felt like you were going to melt.
Andy of course fought with the heat. He wore black jeans and a lavender dress shirt. Oh and of course not in the picture are his beautiful pair of black suede Nikes that shall not be tarnished by the vicious nature we call grass and dirt.
Tina also went for the summer classic silhouetted dress. It is a pink dress that not only gives you interest all over but has detailed cut outs at the collar. She paired them with silver and black jewelry to compliment her black flats.

Thanks for reading!

Day 3 | Catching Up!

The third day in my series before I leave for college. So today was not any different I had a late start as usual. Susan gave me a call and she was already here of course.
We really wanted to go on adventure you know? Try something new. We thought we'd try a place called the Ally Restauraunt which served the usual american food. Burgers, frieds, and etc. but it just looked really good. By the time we got there the sign on the door said they were closed for maintenance. Really? Like Really? Guess where we ended up..
Our beloved and consistent Corner Bakery! I know I know it's boring but you know what it's darn good. I was super happy when I ran in to Jenny my baby girl. Who thinks they are going to go to Corner Bakery and run in to your beloved.

After all the hanging out with Susan and I literally walked the dogs for probably about two to three hours. I really liked being outside and plus I didn't want to go home. It's nice just sitting on the cement near the grass and just watching the sun go down and that summer breeze. It is nice even though in the background there is this one dog that yaps at everything that moves.
Hehe I really thought that this day was going to be a bust because my plans got cancelled but these butt holes actually visited me. We caught up and chit chatted about tv and movie trivia. Oh how we spend our lives wasted in front of the screen. It's so amazing though!! After I broke a freaking dish and cleaned it up we took this lovely photograph to remind us separating is not an option. Kudos to my mother taking this picture with my slr! I am really grateful for everyone who took out time in their busy schedule to hang out with me! Love you guys.

Day 2 Vivian Photoshoot | Huntington Beach

Today, I had a little photo shoot with my best girl Vivian! It was a bit of a random outing but it was great to get out in nature again! Before all of this Diana and I actually went to go get our hair cuts together. How cute. I know. Despite the shortness I think we look beautiful. Even this lady called me beautiful oh gosh made my day! Don't you agree with her?
I am just going to say these photo shoots are never with out exercise. I think we circled around this whole park just to try to get back to the car! I need to tell mother nature that she needs to install some directories.
Even with all the dirt, branches, and plenty of I mean plenty of bugs they turned out great. We did a great job even if we were just running out on energy. I am so tired from all that running around we did. Thank you so much Jamba Juice for having your $1 deal it makes our lives so much easier! I still cannot believe we came home and ran around with the dogs for a bit. We are unstoppable man, unstoppable.

Day 2 Outfit of the Day | Huntington Beach Photoshoot

Today was pretty hot but as the day progressed it got breezy and actually comforting. We did do a photo shoot around four so it was not too sunny or too dark which was great. I am just going to say it was a lazy day. I don't really ever put my volume on my phone so I kind of missed Diana's phone calls and texts like crazy. You can picture me rushing out of bed and throwing who knows what on.
I threw on a sheer white shirt, over is a thrifted denim jacket, and my burgundy jeans. It is kind of a laid back type of ware. I even wore my Nikes from tenth grade what a throw back.
Sticking to a theme Vivian wore a sheer white blouse and under was a white lace bustier to spice it up. Her turquoise items consisted of her pencil skirt, her pair of floral flats, and her knuckle ring that I try so hard to fit into.

It was quite a little outing before I leave. I have to say that today was a great girls day outing. I really will miss these spontaneous photo shoots. I love sitting in front of the computer and fumbling around Photoshop to make sure that every picture looks it's very best. I do love it.

Day 1 | Before My Farewell

I am leaving for college on Sunday! This week is where I say my farewells and do some stupid stuff. YOLO. I know over played but I think it is so funny to say sometimes! No one says it anymore.

Today I hung out with my Filipino, Joleen! This summer we have hung out almost every single week until school started. It is sad that we won't get to hang out as much but I am happy we got to say our goodbyes! I make it sound like I am going to be in a different state but I am not that smart and I am going to be living 45 minutes away.

Of course we had some Filipino food. I think Jollibee is my favorite for that right piece of fried chicken. It is so crispy and juicy and comes with a side of their special gravy. Which is very impossible to finish by the way. It looks scarce but this was so filling and I am so full just thinking about it. We are just the cutest aren't we by Mister Jollibee.

I think it's our tradition to take a picture with this jolly good man. You know even though some people might think we are crazy. That's the fun of it! You just don't put a statue in front of a restaurant just for looks. Naww you got to capture the moment that you shared with this bee. Haha. Enough of that but my chicken cravings were satisfied.

Day 1 | Outfits of the Day

After our pig out at Jollibee and shopping til we dropped at forever we went to pick up Joleen's sister! We also had a bit of fun. Who said that randomly modeling in a community park is out of the question. I bet to differ!

Looking good is always the business. Joleen and I had the same idea on our outfits for a summer day. Joleen had on a cute maroon collared tied shirt that had some wide white seams and polka dots all over. In this weather shorts are always a good idea. They were also an olive denim kind.
With the same idea I wore a white printed heart shirt. We both had tied shirts and they are so in right now it wasn't a surprise we both wore it. I also felt like a sweet heart and wore pink shorts and red shoes my sister got in Japan.
We played like little kids at the community park while Joleen's sister thought we were crazy kids. I am going to miss these summer days dearly. Oh that sisterly love. Thanks for reading.

Pasadena Foodies

I cannot tell you how much I hate this heat! It is incredibly dry & hot all the time. Why Why! I always start off with the weather but seriously it has been 100 degrees lately.

Recently I adventured to the great beyond with my sister and brother in law + Chloe (Maltipoo). We went to PASADENA! No, no I did not go to the flea market because we were a week off but we did get some good ol' half  & half. My favez. I am dreadfully sorry I didn't take a picture but it was sooo hot and it was just too good to put down. That iced milk tea with caramel + pudding is the best.

Since we went to go visit my sister's friends we learned that dogs have a social hierarchy. Really. They will bite and bark until their status is known.

It's kind of hard carrying on my story but I hope you are still with me. Because it was hot we decided to let the dogs socialize at home while we all left to go watch the new Resident Evil. I don't even know the last time I have been in the theaters! Let me tell you I don't watch these movies but wow these zombies just jump out of no where and they will eat your face. It was pretty good made me think of the video game. Coming out of the movie I was on my guard and wanted to kick some ass pretty much. I felt like a bad ass. Yeahhhh

Sweet and Sour Pork
Edamame and Tofu Slices
Shanghai Rice Cakes
Xiao Long Bao
You know I had to get some good eats in Pasadena after all that crime fighting zombie kicking exercise. We went to Chang's Garden to eat some Chinese food and dumplings. No waits is a plus not like Din Tai Fung. I love family style food because we can get such a variety of food you usually don't eat. Yumm I think my favorite was the sweet and sour ribs and the rice cakes.

Overall today was a great day. I fulfilled my half & half cravings and learned some fighting moves and got some banging Chinese food. Oh and another plus Chloe learned how to socialize! Thanks for reading.

Outfit of the day | Irvine Photoshoot

For this 90 degree and 64% humidity I think jeans would have been homicidal! I kind of wanted to created a different post for this because the other one was getting a bit tooo long.

I thought I would go for a bit of rocker in this outfit. The desert + rock kind of go a long it reminds me of a Coachella. Even though I have never been want to though!

I wore a sleeveless owl shirt that showed off my battle wound, my shot of course. Loving my frayed denim shorts that were paired off with my top shop studded flats. They are dangerous I have to tell you that I've gotten scratched a few times.
Walking out the door with out accessories is fatal. My arm candy consists of a f21 mint studded wrap, a white skull bracelet, and a gold skull cuff. Wrapped around my neck is a cross from f21 I got a while back.
Gosh got to love these shoes!

Diana & Daniel Photoshoot | Irvine Orange County

I am just going to tell you I haven't touched my camera in the longesttt timee. I was hoping someone wanted to do a photo shoot and guess what? My camera gods answered my prayers!!! Diana & Daniel wanted to do some modeling for fun. We pretty much discovered the Irvine area by foot and by foot I mean we were not ready for a hike. With no water and no sun block we were victims of hot heat and the sun.

We made the best out of heat and the desert. Got to love California and the pictures it produces!

Let's just say that Diana kind of stole the show. People don't understand but guys are so hard to take pictures of. More boys need to take some modeling classes! That would be a useful class in high school. It would make everything so much easier please and thank you.
YESSS I had to sneak in a couple of pictures or so to make the day successful. I really had a fun time with my red skin and poor feet phalanges. This year will be a good one I actually have a couple of more photo shoots down the line!

Looking at these pictures makes me want to stick a piece of wheat between my teeth and sit on the porch with my banjo singing the old tunes of the west. Oh yes what a peaceful life that would be.

Laura
